Fair Trade Coloured Swirl Necklace

A slightly unusual fair trade necklace. The fair trade pendant is crafted in India from metal that has a beaten look and is then finished with a coloured swirl. The pendant is then hung on matching colour strands.

The importer of this product is a member of BAFTS and has been trading fairly for over ten years. They buy fair traded products from India, Indonesia, Nepal and Thailand. Most products are purchased directly from the primary producers. In India they will purchase from larger companies who provide benefits for their workers such as free healthcare and free education. One of their suppliers provide funding for two schools in Rajasthan. One supplier in Nepal supports an orphanage and he gives his workers work clothes and holiday pay.
