This exquisite fair trade jewellery box has been lovingly hand made in mahogany wood and brought to us all the way from Bali. It has two beautiful inter-woven levered lid openings that are shaped like a puzzle and stained bright yellow and green in colour. Once inside this fair trade jewellery box you will find a wooded interior which comprises of 6 individual compartments to store all your precious jewels.

Standing 23.5cm x 23cm and 6.5cm deep this mahogany wood box is of high quality and has been carefully carved, with gentle rounded off edges, then highly polished and stained.

The importer of this fair trade jewellery box has a direct trading policy and they are a member of BAFTS. They visit the poorer regions of the world, such as; Indonesia, Nepal, Peru and the Amazon in search of quality crafts. Once found they pay a fair price, often making advanced payments to enable craftsman or artist to purchase raw materials. This direct trading policy currently provides well paid regular employment for about 200 families.
