Fair Trade Rainforest Box

This is a very pretty and useful fair trade rainforest box. These boxes are hand carved and hand painted with a rainforest frog on the lid. The box has a hinged lid and measures around 13cm. Ideal as a jewellery box or for other nik naks.

The importer of this product has a direct trading policy. They visit the poorer regions of the world, such as; Indonesia, Nepal, Peru and the Amazon in search of quality crafts. Once found they pay a fair price, often making advanced payments to enable craftsman or artist to purchase raw materials. This direct trading policy currently provides well paid regular employment for about 200 families.
